longmont family photographer | cutts four generations

Summer has hit me full tilt and I’m a little behind.  It’s a misnomer that teachers “relax” during the summer.  I’d like to clarify this misconception.  I have always referred to summer as “non-contact time.”  I find myself during the summer months working later, harder and longer because I can.  :)  No early school day schedule, but I am a moth to the late summer evening sun.  It’s a different phase, summer.  But don’t say that I’m relaxing.;) I have TONS to catch up on, so stay tuned!  Many blog updates this week!

Now that I’ve fully provided enough excuses as to why I am nearly WAY too late posting this, I’ll proceed!

Amy Crews Cutts is a remarkable new mother.  She’s a new mother at 43 and very proud of it.  She turned 43 in February and delivered a healthy baby boy with no complications in March.  She’s even given me sound advice when I turn to Facebook and sigh about the status of children in my life…

I truly enjoyed capturing such a special occasion of four generations.  I was also able to capture a teething toddler and a monkey in a tree!

Alex behaved for a few minutes so that I could get this one.

My wonderful friend Karen approaches teething with such grace.  I was assured a number of times that Carter’s disposition was very out of character that day.  I believe her, too.  :) You might remember their family session.

I love this photo!  It truly captures what I got to work with that day!  Look at Quinnlyn and Grandma.  They were ready.  I just couldn’t resist.  That’s the process!

Much better!  Smiling happy family.  Love it.

A quiet moment between Aunt Brenda and Carter…

The happy new parents!

The sisters!

Very Proud Great Grandma.  I love this one.

You found my monkey!  In a pink dress, no less!  :)

Thank you, Cutts Family!  I enjoyed my time with you all!

-Susan

P.S. You can view the whole session here.

Amy - I love this session! Not only a beautiful family, but you really captured their beauty. You impress me more and more each time I see more of your work, my talented sister.July 8, 2010 – 8:38 pm
