New Year’s Day 2010: Bryan and I were thrilled to be photographers to capture Tim proposing to his girlfriend Ashley.
Tim and Bryan go way back–since they were 14 and 15 working at McDonalds.
Tim was Bryan’s Best Man.
We thought Ashley was perfect for him the day we met her, and I did a mini session (just for fun) last March–here.
It was a total surprise. We went up to Estes and scoped out some spots. He took her to Starbucks and then they went walking. Bryan texted Tim how far to walk, when to turn, and to look for the Xs that we marked in the snow.
She was facing towards the river when we ambushed her with photography. Why didn’t anyone tell me it’s nearly impossible to take pictures while you’re crying? I need to practice this.
We got to be the first ones to congratulate them. They are going to be SO happy.
Later, we all went back to Starbucks where we got warm again!
Her look is priceless. She’s so happy!
This is my favorite.
